History of the Hotel Sangro

The story of the Hotel Sangro in Mozzagrogna starts, thanks to Piero and Felicia, in 1974, when the hotel born as a garage and a service area. The great kindness of this couple allows them to change the garage into a restaurant and, then, in a hotel equipped with the best services and comfortable bedrooms, among the most appreciated in Chieti.

In the years, with them, their sons continue the activity: this way born the Hotel Sangro. The management of the Hotel, not so far from the center of Lanciano, has always payed a great attention to the renowing of the hotel itself: that is why, these last years, have been totally restored the great restaurant room, the bedrooms and the outdoor area, equipped with a big private parking.

In the years a lot have been the important personalities that came at the Hotel Sangro: musicians, sportmen, actors... Our hotel is in Mozzagrogna, a village between Lanciano and Fossacesia, in the province of Chieti and is close to the business area. From the hotel is easy to reach the Miracle of Lanciano: it makes us ready to satisfy the need of the cultural and religious tourism in Abruzzo.

Furthermore, the proximity to the beach, only few kilometers far, and to the mountain, that can be reached in half an hour, make the Hotel Sangro an excellent destination for all the tourists.
